A Bit About Me
I'm Linnée — lawyer, founder, and the entire team behind Peregrine Legal Services.
Like a lot of military kids, I don't really have a hometown. But Cold Lake is the place I've lived the longest, all added up, and it's the place I've chosen to raise my kids. My family was posted here from Kingston in 2008, and I finished high school here (plus a semester at Portage College) before heading off to Edmonton, Kelowna, and Calgary for a biology degree and then law school.
In 2023, I came home. I moved back to Cold Lake with my two young kids to be closer to my parents, and that decision shaped everything about how I built my practice.
A Different Kind of Law Firm
Built around real life. I designed my firm to be flexible, for my clients and for me. Life doesn't happen in tidy nine-to-five boxes, and I don't think legal help should have to either.
No office, on purpose. I work from home and meet clients wherever makes sense: your place, your workplace, a coffee shop, the library, or, in summer, outside (the beach is a personal favourite). I'll take practicality over formality any day.
You deal directly with me. No assistant, no receptionist, no phone tree. When you call, text, or email, it comes straight to me.
Efficiency is the goal. I spend a lot of time building automations and streamlining how I work. That keeps things fast and consistent, keeps my overhead low, and, the part that matters most to you, keeps my fees reasonable.
Simple is better. My whole focus is making legal help accessible, affordable, and uncomplicated. If something can be done simply, I think it should be, and done quickly, without costing a fortune.

I offer limited scope representation. I only offer full scope representation through Legal Aid.

I offer limited scope ("unbundled") family law services — focused help with specific parts of your matter, such as legal advice, document review, drafting agreements, or preparing for a court appearance. Please note I'm not currently taking on full-scope files headed for trial.
